Don't say Jesus?

The attitude in much of society today is the same as it was 2000 years ago..."So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus." (Acts 4:18). It is our belief that our great nation was founded by honorable men who believed and lived the Word of God. Much of history has been ignored or rewritten to remove any sense of loyalty to God in those who have gone on before us. The point that our society is missing today is that Jesus Christ, the Bible says, is the Word. Therefore, this nation was founded on an unashamed belief in Jesus Christ.

There is also a stark contrast between "news reports" and truth reports". Although we are not media-hostile (this project is itself a media outreach), there is an obvious bias against people of faith in the Christian community. We see this time and again in how Christians, and Jesus Himself, are portrayed in the media.

From award shows to political rallies, from high school graduations to classrooms all across the country, there is a movement to secularize America, and to stop the name of Jesus from even being mentioned. We are not advocating a "theocratic" form of government. We believe that one of the great things about our nation is our ability to choose what or who we believe in, as well as having the freedom to exercise free will. What we desire to see changed is the outright attempt to censor those who are bold about their faith in God.

Born out of a local church in Reno, NV, The Jesus Uncensored project's purpose is two-fold: to lift up the name of Jesus Christ in the public arena, and to be used as a tool of evangelism for the Kingdom of God. The anti-Christ spirit in the world would have you believe that your faith should remain a private issue...that Jesus should be kept hush-hush. Is there any wonder why every immoral lifestyle imaginable is being accepted as OK, and out in the open?

This is where we need you. Hopefully, this site has encouraged you to take a stand, and speak up for what you believe in; on your job, on the bus, in an airport...wherever you are.
